PORSCHE WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN TITANIUM
Last week Dyno-Comp was visited by a 2011 Porsche Turbo S that received an ECU upgrade. After just a weekends time the owner of the Porsche returned to Dyno-Comp to take the car to the next level. During this visit a new exhaust system was installed to optimize exhaust gas flow and increase the overall power band of the vehicle. The system of choice was a full titanium exhaust featuring high flow cats by Akrapovic. The lightweight titanium metal helped reduce weight while giving the car an overall great sound. PORSCHE 997.2 BEGINS ITS JOURNEY
Dyno-Comp is known for its expertise when it comes to Porsche performance. One of the latest Porsche’s to visit Dyno-Comp was a 2011 Porsche 997.2 Turbo S looking to maximize performance while keeping the car completely stock. Our solution was a quick and easy custom software calibration that was created using our in house 4WD dyno. Being that the 997 was equipped with turobchargers it responded very well to software alone! Have a look for yourself…

INDE MOTORSPORTS RANCH IN REVIEW
The Dyno-Comp team spent this last weekend out at Inde Motorsports Ranch in Wilcox, AZ. We had such a great time that we thought it would be appropriate to share our experience with our followers. In this review Dyno-Comp will discuss the facilities, the track, and our overall impression of Inde Motorsports Ranch.
The Facilities
From the control tower and runway to the many supporting buildings, Inde Motorsports Ranch does a great job of making you feel right at home. The tracks facilities feature full service restrooms with showers, private garages equipped with lofts, multiple paddock locations for RVs or trailers, and you can even land an airplane on the main straightaway! What other track can say that. If you prefer the great outdoors over sleeping in an RV or motel, Inde even offers camp sites for tents. The overall impression from the moment you step on to the track is that of a top tier racing circuit.
The Track
Featuring a 2.75 mile long track that can be configured in dozens of different layouts, Inde Motorsports Ranch has every type of driving style covered. This track has technical written all over it so be cautious when first stepping on to the pavement. You might get the impression of being overwhelmed at first, but we promise you that will all change! The track itself is a masterpiece, winding between dozens of old fighter jets and Arizona’s beautiful natural landscape. The other major difference between Inde and most tracks of this kind is the variety of elevation highs and lows. Every aspect of this track will keep you wondering… “What Can I Expect Next?”.
As if all of this wasn’t enough Inde Motorsports Ranch is located just outside of Tuscon, in Wilcox Arizona. The total travel time from Scottsdale is about 3 hours, with dozens of food and lodging about 15 miles outside of the track. In conclusion we would highly recommend visiting Inde Motorsports Ranch as either a driver or even as a spectator. Stay tuned for a possible Dyno-Comp track day at the end this summer!
TRACK PREPARATION GOES TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Safety is the number one concern when the decision is made to take a care to the track. In the photo above our technicians are checking both the Dyno-Comp STi and a customers 2008 STi to make sure everything is in prime condition to perform to its greatest potential. If you are involved in NASA, Dyno-Comp can also help you pass tech inspections.
If you already have safety covered, why not bring your car to Dyno-Comp for a baseline dyno. This can be helpful for spec racing and horsepower classes along with ensuring no last minute problems arise before you head on your way.

Arizona is visited once a year by the Russo & Steele collector car auction. During this time Dyno-Comp will be visited by dozens of customers requesting vehicle inspections, tune-ups for cars going to the auction block, and post purchase upgrades.
