FIAT CINQUECENTO (500) ABARTH STAGE-1 ECU UPGRADE
If you haven’t had a chance to check out the new Fiat 500 then you are missing out! Dyno-Comp had the chance to evaluate one first hand and the results were nothing short of impressive. This 2011 Fiat 500 was equipped with a turbocharger from the factory allowing for maximum performance. The Fiat 500 featured in this blog post was equipped with a cat-back exhaust system and an ECU re-flash from Dyno-Comp. This complete factory ECU re-flash produces gains of over 40hp and 50tq! The ECU re-flash is completely undetectable at the dealer level and greatly increases the overall drive-ability of the car by increasing horsepower and even mpg. Have a look for yourself at the gains!
Bone Stock: 2011 Fiat 500 Abarth Turbo
REAL WORLD this is what a 2011 Fiat 500 Abarth puts down for power..
- 130 (Wheel HP) x 1.23 = 160 HP at the flywheel.
- 138 (Wheel TQ) x 1.23 = 170 TQ at the flywheel.
These numbers were taken from a stock car and may vary.
- HP is now at 165 (at the wheels) which equates out to about 203 HP at the flywheel.
- TQ is now at 194 (at the wheels) which is approx 239 TQ at the flywheel.
At the end of the day what does all this mean…
- +43 HP increase at the flywheel.
- +69 TQ increase at the flywheel.

is this an ODBII reflash? and when do you expect availability for consumers?
Hello Dl,
This is not an OBDII re-flash, we will need the ECU out of the car. This re-flash is already available to consumers.
