Have you ever considered driving your car out on the track and experiencing what its like to race competitively? Why not register with NASA AZ? The National Auto Sport Association of Arizona provides introductory instruction for those who have never been on a track all the way up to race group and time attack classes.

Dyno-Comp will be attending this NASA AZ event at INDE Motorsports Ranch in an effort to dial in our 2006 Unlimited Class Time Attack Subaru STi with a new brake cooling fan system. This system has the ability to detect g-forces experienced when braking hard and control the cooling fans to match the track conditions. If you are planning to attend this event, we will see you at the track!

This event will be taking place on May 5th & 6th 2012.

Ever since the introduction of the new Mercedes twin turbo platform, Dyno-Comp has been working fiercely to develop new performance packages that tailor to the characteristics of this new turbocharged motor. Our latest project improved upon previous results and took this car to the next level. Introducing Dyno-Comp’s stage-3 performance package for the Mercedes CLS 63 twin turbo. Our stage-3 package includes software, down-pipes to remove the primary catalytic converters, and drop in high flow air filters. Continue reading bellow for the results!

Bone Stock: 2012 Mercedes CLS 63 AMG

REAL WORLD this is what a 2012 Mercedes CLS 63 AMG puts down for power..

• 470 (Wheel HP) x 1.23 = 578 HP at the flywheel.
• 506 (Wheel TQ) x 1.23 = 622 TQ at the flywheel.

These numbers were taken from a stock car and may vary.

• HP is now at 583 (at the wheels) which equates out to about 717 HP at the flywheel.
• TQ is now at 670 (at the wheels) which is approx 824 TQ at the flywheel.

At the end of the day what does all this mean…

• +139 HP increase at the flywheel.
• +202 TQ increase at the flywheel.

Dyno-Comp is NOT the new kid on the block when it comes to tuning Mustangs. Our latest project entailed a 2008 Ford Mustang GT500 with some tasteful upgrades. The modifications included Borla long tube headers with high flow cats, a Bassani cat-back exhaust, JLT air intake, Steeda high boost pulley upgrade, and a custom ECU tune from Dyno-Comp. All of which led to the end result of some serious horsepower. Have a look for yourself!

Dyno-Comp has experienced another great success with the new Mercedes M157 twin turbo platform. In the case of this 2012 Mercedes S 63 Dyno-Comp witnessed increases of over 60hp and 110ftlb tq at the wheels… That is from software alone! If that increase was still not enough, there are several projects planned for the near future to incorporate downpipes into the equation which should add an additional 40hp and 40tq.
