ECU Upgrade details for all Dyno-Comp tuned vehicles:
At Dyno-Comp we custom engineer each map specific to your vehicle. Dyno-Comp extracts the factory ECU ROM file and saves it in our database. We then re-engineer that factory ROM file with new performance calibration data, and re-load that ROM file back into the ECU specific to your VIN# and version code of your ECU. Therefore, the Version Code and the VIN number still matches the original ROM file referenced. This makes it undetectable by your dealer, and still allows full diagnostics. If the car needs to be put back to stock we still have your original ROM file in our database. Also, if the dealer re-flashes the ECU we will re-load your performance ROM file free of charge. Also, any software updates are free.
